why is it that galaxy 2 is getting so much flack for using similar gameplay seen in its predecessor when this game, and god of war 2 for that matter, is literally just a prettier version of the original?
NMH was a post-modern game. Anyone who doesn't know what that means really wouldn't understand what it was trying to do in the first place.
was it flawless? by no means. the game could have definitely been improved. but like killer 7 before it, it's definitely a thinking man's game in a lot of ways (though probably less so than killer 7 overall). it might be just a lot of pretentious bullshit, but so is a lot of art. NMH is much closer to qualifying as a piece of art than say GTA4. I hope this one stays true to the original. Looks great so far :)
you really are an absolute idiot with a petty grudge.
you not liking something =/= other people wont enjoy it
your trolling =/= the sane voice of reason
think about this for one second and maybe you'd understand why this is a fantastic deal. With a new control scheme (that many people really enjoyed, not that you'd ever give two shits about what the blind nintendo faboys enjoy, right?) on each old game, plus some achievement-esque content that was also present in metroid prime 3, not to mention added widescreen support that wasn't previously present, the two updated games are easily worth $15 each. Ironically enough, that's the exact price you cited for XB originals, wasn't it? And those are games that are straightforward emulated ports with no upgrades.
THINK for a second.
Metroid Prime 3, an absolutely fantastic game in its own right, is a steal at $20.
$50 is an incredible price for all three games, especially if two of them have been tweeked. The original Metroid Prime alone is one of the best games to come out in the last ten years (and that's a critical consensus). Seriously. Wake up, you tard.
keep in mind that HotD has also sold pretty well over in the UK (for a lightgun game, at least).
also, wii games have shown a tendency to accumulate sales over a long period of time rather than just within the first month like the more front loaded HD games
Hands-on: God of War III (well, the first boss battle at least)
Mar 1st 2010 1:10PM (Joystiq)not to say I wont play GoW3 as well =D
Stand at attention for this No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle trailer
