Just what I've been waiting for, a new Star Wars game for my DS. Let's just hope that this one is good, not like some other previous Star Wars handheld titles (Episode II for GBA, we're looking at you).

Unfortunately, the graphics looks like they were only improved a very little bit, if at all, from the GBA game, excepting the character pictures. It also looks to have nearly identical gameplay, which is not a bad thing, but the game may feel like just more of the same to (More) Friends of Mineral Town players. Of course, we'll have to wait for the final product to know for sure, but those were my thoughts when watching the videos yesterday.

Hmm, looks the graphics are virtually identical to FFIV then, which is what I was expecting.

I have found playing with the DS Lite to be uncomfortable on my right hand as well. Holding the DS away, or as Cabel said in his video reveiws of the Lite, "letting it breathe" helps, but it a rather awkward playing position. Of course, I think it's well worth the discomfort to be able to play the great games on a DS Lite.

Ah well, at least it's not vaporware... although I was originally expecting it in the spring. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait though.

One thing is that this is based on *suscribers*, not players. While for some games, such as WoW, a player is a suscriber, for games like RuneScape there are many players who are not suscribers. In fact, according to JaGeX's (the company who made RuneScape)corporate website, "Jagex has a large audience of over 5 million unique users who play our games every month." Jagex does have a few other games besides RuneScape, but I can't imagine anybody actually playing them.

That's higher than WoW. Amazing. I'm not sure if the other games have higher player numbers also, but it is worth noting that RuneScape makes less money than WoW, but is far more commonly played.
