My guess is that AT&T wants people to buy the 3g enabled iPad. If Sling works over 3g there is more intensive for folks to pay the extra for the 3g version. If AT&T is seen as limiting their 3g network, people might just but the wifi only version and att won't even have a shot at getting the extra 30 bucks a month.

I have been an aperture user but lately I have been playing with the Lightroom 3 beta and I am considering making the switch. they both have pros and cons. I will wait till Aperture 3 ships to make up my mind.

This is what I am most interested to see. They need to create a way to put text into the device while holding it comfortably and securely. whats the best solution? really god handwriting recognition? (when I hear steep learning curvre I fget PTS from my old palm pilot's crazy hieroglyphics). maybe we all have to learn ASL and the devices camera will read our hands. or is these some kinda crazy one handed keyboard.
