Feb 11th 2010 1:56PM (Joystiq)Yes it was. With the exception of Splinter Cell map packs (Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory - which may have gone free eventually), DDR tracks, and some of the Halo 2 packs initially, all content was free from the get-go.

White Knight Chronicles launch DLC ready to go
Feb 3rd 2010 11:36PM (Joystiq)Think Home, in terms of content and price.
I don't believe the $5 re-customize ticket applies to anything other than cosmetics. Especially since the instruction manual points out how to re-spec your character after you reach level 35-50.

'EA is in the wrong business,' ex-exec Lasky blogs
Jan 14th 2010 2:00PM (Joystiq)You just read the "EA is in the wrong business" title and assumed he was referring to the quality of viddy games they produce, instead of how the company is currently run (Which is what the blog post was about).
No where does Lasky insult quality titles from EA, other than pointing out some are commercial failures which no one can refute ("...it fell to EA Games to make hits that could move the needle. It's been a very ugly scene, indeed. From Spore, to Dead Space, to Mirror's Edge, to Need for Speed: Undercover, it's been one expensive commercial disappointment for EA Games after another.")
