It's funny if you get the history: Ralph Baer was the man who actually pioneered the technology that made video games possible, so he, in effect, invented video games. Nolan Bushnell only made it into a business, but he often takes credit, or is given credit for, actually inventing the technology. Which he didn't.
Has it occured to anyone that it could have been in development at EA? That would easily explain "major 3rd party developer" and the fact that it looks like Goldeneye; it's probably done on the same engine.
