I hope it fixes the TAC adapter since it broke the adapter last update. It was nice using my old guitar hero guitars to play rock band and gh world tour. Also using the old dualshocks was nice too because it saved money and added extra players without the need to drop 50 to 60 bucks on a dualshock 3.

If it doesn't get fixed then the ps3 has went down a notch in my book. I mean there was tons of firmware updates and they didn't effect the adapter until the last one. If it fixes it well then sony redeemed themselves.

Yea i was reading this yesterday made sad it seems like empty promises. But the update that was released was a month or ago was cool enough. Overall I wish capcom wouldn't say it and then take it back...i would've got it on the 360 but it's not a big deal. It would be nice if they are going to put trophies or patch them for bc: rearmed. Also street fighter hd came out in 08 so sadly it doesn't count as having trophies earlier.

But hey marvel vs. capcom 2 is coming out with trophies and it's the dreamcast version and ps 3 users are getting the exclusive treatment by having the demo!! woot!

My question should be posed is the definitive version the 360 since it has achievements??? I mean both the 360 and ps 3 are graphically the same. They play the same minus what controller your using is a argument all to itself. I feel the ps3 version is the same sans trophies and the online hasn't been glitchy or laggy but works really on the ps 3. Also game like re5, sf4, bioshock, rock band 2, guitar world tour, are examples where there is very negligible difference between telling the games apart it you where playing them blind without even knowing the "x" button and the "a" button are the same type of button to confirm your choice. Overall the ps 3 versions of dmc 4 and guitar world tour may not have trophies but content wise they are exact as the 360 version. It just seems expect for braid, the original dead rising, left 4 dead, halo 3 and gears of war... and vice versa little big planet, pixel junk monsters, mgs 4 valkyria Chronicles, both system are very similar and there should've just been a merger between microsoft and sony to make system.. sorry for the wall of text but this is the pattern i'm noticing over these past three years.

Homebrew is a lot safer to play import games then modding the system with a mod chip.

This is because the homebrew community knows what they are doing and take careful steps to reserve any homebrewing that you do.

The only thing would be nice is when they figure out a way to easily run the japanese shop channel and to be able to run japanese channels or any region.

It would be ideal if nintendo would just update or offer a update to make consoles region free for disc based games and if people want to use japanese channels. But this won't happen in the lifetime of the wii. Maybe the next console offers nintendo can have region free off the bat like the PS3. The DS is region free without any homebrew modding(Which was nice for playing rhythm tengaku gold)

Overall, homebrew won't mess up you console just to play japanese games.

It's sad that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 won't be on the wii's virtual console or at least on a disc. I guess I stuck getting a used dreamcast(only thirty bucks used) and mvc 2. Having MvC2 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom on the wii would be awesome.

But yea importing this game is worth it since it's probably not going to be the same here in the states when and IF the U.S. ends up getting the game.

Also, from what I've read the ps 3 version has freeplay mode, voice chat, and the wiggly arrow gltich for vocals is gone. Trophies work like a charm too.

Harmonix made both versions equal this time around which is nice.

I'd have to go with the rockman 9 japanese artwork, the anime drawings are classic and embody megaman characters perfectly.
