?What I ultimately want is a game appliance, one that doesn't need network and I don't need to worry about, and games are put it in and it'll work, and there's no danger to any of my data."

So you want a Wii then?

Love to hate you baby: Gaming's public enemies

"since the SNES Nintendo have consistently been a let down (except for Ocarina of Time) accumalting in sham that was the GameCube and the WII novelty."

Yeah, pioneering console use of Rumble, Analog Sticks, Motion Controls, 3d Platformers, first person shooters, etc.

Really big letdowns, I totally hate them for blazing the trail that brought all consoles to where we are today.

Poll: How much are you playing Wii?

Feb 28th 2007 8:13PM (Joystiq)
The Wii was pretty much the only gaming system i used since November,
with the exception of:
>>A few X-box Live Halo 2 sessions,
>>Playing through Gears of War co-op at my friend's place,
>>And playing Katamari & Shadow of the Collosous with my girlfriend.

So, that would be a good ... 70 - 80% of my gaming since november spent with the Wii. And i still havent gotten bored.

Until the release of Supreme Commander that is ...
My gaming PC isnt feeling lonely anymore ;-)

(i havent played another game since Supreme Commander came out)

I have to say I really enjoyed Red Steel,
I think a great part of that was the music ...

I'm a bit of an audiophile, and the score of Red Steel is phenomenal and fits the game perfectly,

The controls weren't perfect, but worked fine if you took a more deliberate approach to the game, rather than a run and gun mentality ... all in all i really liked it ...

also ... the fun house level ... best FPS level i've played in a LONG LONG time ...
