Rock Band 2 is by far the best game of its genre. Note charts are much better, interface is better, and the constant flow of DLC is what really makes it stand head and shoulders above any GH in recent memory (and there have been quite a few of those).
I'm not so sure I'm picking up Beatles RB, but I'm positive I'll keep buying DLC for RB2 for quite a while, specially when that new system is up and running, and publishers can upload the tracks themselves to the music store.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 was the only really good game announced. IMHO. Metroid is not my cup of tea, New Mario Bros seems old already, and has LBP written all over it. SMG was a blast, a new one just makes it even better. I Miss a pilotwings game though.
360 is the best current option for gaming and MS knows that. Actually, pretty everyone this side of the Wii knows it, or else PS3 would sell much better.
It's actually said to see Sony dropping from #1 in the last generation to #3 (a.k.a last) in the current one in sales. Even sadder is seeing how some still thinks the PS3 is not a complete disaster from Sony's part.
Think about it, I mean, just give it a quick thought: when you are the leading platform for 7 years, selling 4 times the competition combined, you expect your new platform to perform better than last place comercially.
Actually, for Sony, being the most sold console in the current gen would be bad if the gap to the competition was closing, seeing how last generation was such an easy win and money was aplenty. But to actually sell less than both your competitors, after such a huge worldwide phenomenon that was the PS2, that is a comercial tragedy in anyone's eyes. I simply can not understand how some people still think that Sony is not that desperate. True.
Man I could care less about who he is or what he stands for... those tracks are great. Everybody in a party will have a blast playing drunk, that's what RB is all about.
# Beer for My Horses" (160 / $2) - from the pack, that's the one I least like.
# "I Love This Bar" (160 / $2) - I love this bar... it's my kind of place... just getting on the dance floor puts a big smile on my face!
# "She's a Hottie" (160 / $2) - actually this one I don't know
# "Should've Been a Cowboy" (160 / $2) - great one. Upbeat and easy to sing.
# "Who's Your Daddy?" (160 / $2) - the funniest one. I predict the ladies are gonna dance all hotty with this one.
# "How Do You Like Me Now" (160 / $2) - as a song, this is the best one.
I miss "As good as I once was", that would be incing on the cake.
