I absolutely love that scene. I looked for that song for ages! I could only find a live version. I tend to think the version used in the movie was the live version, just cleaned up a little. The itself have a progressive tension that matches the scene perfectly. Boogie Nights schools me all day long.

Never played a COD game that I didn't like. I will buy Black Ops and play it until the next one comes out. Is this really such a bad cycle? There aren't many games I play anymore anyway. Just GTA, Half Life and COD games. I imagine TRYRCH will go a little more realistic with the gore, like they did with WAW. Not a bad thing. Zombies? I could care less. Vietnam setting? Cool. Something tells me they will bring up the My Lai Massacre.

I'm stoked. Can't wait.

i'm starting to think this site is for whiny, casual gamers. black ops is the next call of duty game. i'll be buying it and playing the multiplayer for as long as it holds my attention, which is usually about 5-6 months. well worth the purchase. the vietnam/cold war setting is a dream come true. can't wait to see the weapons! i'm stoked!!!

look at all these kids telling me i shouldn't buy the maps. what if I want to buy them? what if 5 new maps are definitely worth $15 dollars to me? $15 in my town is 2 pints of Guinness that i piss out in 15 minutes. $15 buys me 5 maps on MW2 and gets me interested in the game for a another few weeks of good times. i wish there wasn't so much bellyachin' on here.

Red Dead Redemption is a day 1 purchase for me. It should hold me over. Still, I'd like to see the next GTA game by Q4 of next year AT THE LATEST. I think they got it right with GTA4. It's a near perfect game to me. I'd just loosen up the controls a tad, speed up the characters, and turn the "realism" just one TINY notch toward how San Andreas was. I'm fairly sure I'll get what I want.

I bought the retail copy of the episodes for $20 after applying a $20 Amazon gift card I received for buying MW2. Both stories are excellent. Well worth the full retail price in my eyes. I've found lately though... I'm starving for news on the next GTA game. Any tidbit of info, PLEASE. GRRRRRRRRRR.

I bought the retail disc for the two expansions. Gotts say... those two games fucking rule. I actually really, really gave a shit about Luis & Gay Tony. And then the story intersecting with Niko & Johnny's story. Just brilliant. As far as I'm concerned, the RS North can do no wrong. Not to mentioned the exposure to lots of great new & old music. I just wish they'd begin spoiling their next offering already.

Can't get enough. Anyway, people talk about losses... and they still raked in nearly a billion dollars. I wish I understood why it's so hard for all these companies to stay afloat. Either you make a billion dollars or you drown. I don't get that.
