Kinect debut event recap (featuring Cirque du Soleil and LED ponchos)
Jun 14th 2010 5:42AM (Joystiq)Well, this is going to air on MTV, Nickelodeon, and a bunch of other channels on Tuesday, so that's probably what this is for.
Just thinking about how much all this must've cost. Cirque du Soleil costs like $200 a seat, normally. Plus the lighting and all the props and sets for this event. Plus renting the venue. Paying all the actors involved. AND paying for 30 minute commercial-free spots on a number of networks.
This event must have cost Microsoft at least $10,000,000, in my opinion.
