I guess lots of people here have not touched a gaming magazines in some years... It's as ridiculous as saying people shouldn't buy financial magazines and just watch the financial news instead. Or never buy sports magazines and just watch ESPN all day...

In 2007 any good magazine focus on more in-depth sujects, analysis, interviews, etc... They also have news but they can't just rely on that.

Oh and btw, if magazines *always* have months old news... could someone explain me where can I get info about the next Guild Wars 2 on the net? The new PC Gamer is gonna be out in a couple of days with a cover story on this....

To Brianb: On the slides they showed it was 499$US (549$can) so only 50$can more than a premium Xbox360 package here in Canada.

I hope they add an observer mode (like Guild Wars) to watch these worldwide tournaments... that would be cool to watch!

PayTheMan: Guild Wars is not only 1 server, it's great technology that doesn't limit you to a specific server! You can play with anyone anywhere in the world and the servers copies your character info over to a common "physical" server so you can play together.

And in this case worldwide ranking means that you just need to enter a PvP game and you can be matched against American, Korean, European, Japanese, etc...
