That's the opposite of what they got though. Double Fine isn't really a high profile developer, nor is the point and click adventure genre high profile (even though, in my opinion, they both should be), yet they still pulled it off. The whole idea of Kickstarter is that you don't need to be a high profile anything to get funding.

Just another one of the great things MTV is doing today. Like discouraging teen pregnancy by portraying it in a negative light. Also all the quality programming they have that *doesn't* glorify sexting. Shows like the Real World are great examples of their anti-bullying message, considering all the fights the room mates don't get in. Did I mention the great music videos they play?

I just want to know if anyone donated for any of the pledges that "are so premium, they break the Kickstarter system" and can only be published directly on Double Fine's site, specifically the $150,000 tier.

No publisher will touch the sequel, period. It's been said quite a few times. Why are Microsoft or Sony any different, they still have to publish it...
Yeah, the game has got a lot more fans now, especially because of Steam (I bought it for $5 on one of the Steam sales and it's definitely one of my top 20 games of all time), but it's still a risk.

That's not a serious question, is it. Do you know how many sales Minecraft has had? 5 Million sales as of Feb 13th, 2012 according to Wikipedia. it's $26.95 now (although in the past it's ranged from around $9 to around $20). Now there's even merchandise on the site. The guy is loaded.

I specifically bought GTA IV on Steam to be able to use this mod. Never cared much for GTA, especially the lack-luster graphics, but this looked amazing and I thought I'd give it a go... nope. Doesn't work with Steam. Oh well, there's a work around involving downloading a torrent of the game disc and using your Steam key to activate it, so hopefully that will work.

There is no download, p0nd is a flash game. It's on Kongregate if you want to play it without going to the linked to, virus infested site.

Uhh, wow. Just shows that you shouldn't be running IE. Both Chrome and Firefox come up with no virus pop-ups from MSE, IE on the other hand shows both a "TrojanDownloader:Java/Comesis.A" and "Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.YN"... appears to be trying to open a PDF as well.

Uhh, there are so many things wrong with what you just said... first of all, *a lot* of Mozilla's funding comes from Google. Second of all, why not complain that you can't install Firefox extensions in IE, Safari, Chrome, Opera, etc? This game is not much different than an extension in that you actually have to install something first before playing it, it's not like a flash game or something similar. Third of all, Chrome is based on an open source browser (Chromium), like Firefox, and it supports all the same open web standards that Firefox supports.
