The game is not that bad. I played EQ from launch to 2006, played EQ2 for a month at release and it was no where near as good. Walked away from it for a few years and then started playing it again two years ago and had a great time. It's way better than a lot of MMOs, but no where near as good as EQ1 was (and I say was because its been ruined many times over for a while now).
I'll stick with LOTRO still til SWTOR, but it may be worth checking out EQ2 again when it goes F2P...

My thoughts exactly. This still looks fun though :)

Great game, really hope they make a sequel that starts where this one leaves off... it would be even better. Especially since Doc's younger self in this one was kind of annoying.

Oh wow, Atari 2600 carts could hold 12MB of data? That's news to me.

SWTOR is more like KOTOR with MMO elements. People who say that every new MMO is a WoW clone don't know what their talking about. I guess EQ2 somehow managed to be a WoW clone before WoW was even released...
As someone who's played nearly every MMO out there (possibly including a few months of SWTOR, although I wouldn't be allowed to say if I had because of the NDA, so let's say I haven't), SWTOR "looks" more like it will feel like a Bioware game with a lot more people.

So much fail spelling ASCII makes full grown, adult jesus weep.

I 100%'d Twilight Princess on the GC, took me around 45 hours. Even saying 50 hours for TP is probably an exaggeration, but Miyamoto said TP would be 100 hours.
Oh well, still greatly looking forward to this game.
