We are 3.0 compatible, I'd be a bad developer if I didn't check that. We're also bug and memory leak free, just for good measure. It's a pretty simple app.
To address a few points that have been made in the comments. We did have bios with each picture, but took them out as we thought that was the reason for rejection. We may put them back in - not sure just yet.
The work is an artist's portfolio, so does not break any laws, rights or amendments as far as we are aware. Same applied with the book.

Personally, I also think WWDC is less than perfect for discussing this stuff with Apple. But we've hit a wall with all other avenues and given that WWDC was in my calendar anyway I thought it would be worth a shot.
Really happy this got approved, as it gives some hope to the rest of us. Here's my rejection story - I built the app to showcase 1,000 (yes, one thousand!) illustrations by a friend of mine:
Jumsoft was a company the brothers were formerly involved in, which went badly.
I don't believe they'll let this one fo the same way, as they are in charge of their own destiny now. Also, I am pretty sure English is not their native language.
