I can't believe I'm saying this but, $10,000 seems kind of reasonable, right?

@KipDrordy Lots of people are already taking credit cards in a number of different capacities and I don't think this device opens me up to fraud any more than the waiter at Applebees or the dude who makes a carbon copy of my card for the painting I bought. Or the delivery driver over the phone, or any other number of times someone gets eyes on your number.

It's all a calculated risk, I think, and one that people have grown increasingly comfortable with.

I think this is going to be a tremendous boon for trade shows/craft fairs.

People don't like to pay for ATMs, and people love not carrying cash. This satisfies both criteria.

And if you're really worried about a vendor at a show stealing your info then don't put it on your debit card so you can dispute the charges later.

But don't dispute the charges if they're legitimate, because that would make a you a terrible human.
