I've had a weakness for Tetris since 1989, when I was 14, living in Germany, and my dad sent me something called a Nintendo Gameboy. Ah, the days of four color glamour.

I finally bought the Nintendo DS, my first hand held system since the Gameboy, two years ago. I bought Tetris again and fell in love again, but I've been bewitched by Planet Puzzle League. Maybe it's not flashy or overly complex like some games, but that's not the point. The gameplay on it never gets old, which to me is the sign of a great puzzle game.

Metareview: Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol

I bought this game, on the strength that my wife and I had the original Chibi Robo for GameCube...which we played almost nonstop for a week. The new game is just as much fun. Chibi Robo Park Patrol is just as fun. It's not for people who mainly enjoy FPS and RPG, but I love it nonetheless. Wish it wasn't exclusive to WalMart though. It's the only reason I bought anything from there in the last 2 years.
