I prefer web based games without any flash or java client. It's the best way to spend two minutes at work, sure, you could spend more time on these games, but it's not time spent playing, it's more like role playing time and social time with other interesting players.
Full games are far more beautifull, but I'm not sure they can be as deep in social interaction as the one you can have in some browser MMO.
Currently, I have yet to find a web game that hasn't the flaws of all these games (power driven players, restrictive and limited gameplay), but my hopes are high :)
