If I can get a Droid Eric for 100 bucks, why would I ever gravitate towards Sprint and the Pixie? Hell, can't you get a Pre for way less than 200 bucks anyway? The Pixie seems out of date before it's even out.

You guys must know nothing about retail. They aren't going to manufacturer a slightly different model (outside of a HD swap) and sell it next to the other system, confusing customers and retailers. It's asinine.

Incorrect. The cameras you speak of to assist drawing, a camera obscura, isn't a camera in a traditional sense because it doesn't capture the image. The first image ever is a heliograph called "A View from the Window at Le Gras" by Niepce.
