ok ok...the acting blew ass but that movie was dead on silent hill. from the store fronts to the garbage bagged-like walls surrounding the city. Never have I seen such a well done adaptation. i played silent hill 2 a couple months back and was totally blown away at all the little things.
ok ok...something that gave the film sooo much more credibility, imo: the main character (rose) drives a jeep liberty, ok. product placement...no doubt! but what tickled my fancy was the connection, subtle as it may be. see, the license plate was "ohio" and the thing that made me feel like it was thought out a lil more than slapping a product into a flick was that the majority of jeeps that are assembled are done so at the plant in Toldeo, OH.
coincidence....nah.
