EA's next Marvel fighter abandons 'Imperfect-ions'

I hope they bring the AKI (or is it Syn Sophia now) team back in to clean up the mess that was LOUD RAP FIGHTING VOLUME 110, with a new Marvel-based fighter.

Oh how I miss you N64-era AKI games.

USA Today confirms U.S. Wii price, date

(SIGH)

I was so ready to jump onto the Wii bandwagon on launch day...I haven't had a good money-blowing launch day since the N64. But 250? I get Wii Sports, but no NUNCHUCK? Thanks, but no thanks. I was ready to drop the price of a PS3 on just Wii system and games. But you don't give me an almost essential piece of controller? It makes the system $270. Japan is getting a system at $215, but they can buy the nunchuck and get a complete system at just over $230. Like most people, to me Wii Sports isn't that important since it seems like a budget title.

I've got my DS (and soon Onyx Lite) and plenty of games (released and coming) and I'm content with that now. And if I get any system this holiday season, I'll have to go for a 360.

EVO: Phase One, like the Phantom but uglier

Sorry, meant Northeast, not northwest, in my anger of the stupidity of this whole article, I said northwest.

But yes, there was a 'preview showing' on the wrong side of town that cost $25. The guy used to run a comic store/comic 'company' called Destiny Comics and ripped off all the people that worked for him 'making comics'. Sure it was a smalltown BS company, but still.

I never personally knew/worked for the guy, but a close friend of mine did work with him with the Destiny comics company and had that occur to him. Samuels has flaunted things time and time again, and they NEVER come to fruition. This is a man looking to make a quick buck by making others beleive he is telling the truth. They 'released' an EVO system before, of course, never saw one piece of it. And that wasn't this 'EVO TRINITY HD' crap mentioned either, it was simply an EVO CONSOLE.

And yes, about Ninja, thats true as well. The image he 'shopped was from the Japanese MGS site...and I should have an image I made comparing the two somewhere around here...I'll look for it tonight and if I find it, put it somewhere and link to it.

My main point is...you can't have a 'real' console/system made in the middle nowhere U.S. It requires a real company with real connections, and not someone's basement.

801-5 Nobel Street, Anniston, Alabama

CANT EVEN SPELL THE STREET NAME RIGHT IN THE PRESS RELEASE! FIVE FRIGGIN DOLLARS FOR FIVE SCRATCH AND WIN STICKERS. Dont worry you'll never win, every damn ticket probably says: 'Sorry, you are not a winner'

I repeat Joystiq, remove the damn article, it hurts my thought processes.

This is BS and has always been BS. Derrick Samuels is a scam artist, plain and simple. Ever heard of a town called Anniston, AL? Google Map it. That's where the Headquarters of this 'EVO' console bull is.

Mapped it? Yep, the northwest corner of Alabama. God knows this is a real company making a real system.

This junk has been around for almost 3 years if I can remember correctly, and back then he had a photoshopped image of Ninja from MGS on the damn page. And was asking people to pay 25.00 for a special showing of the console. And the special showing was taking place on the wrong side of the tracks.

Please, Joystiq, remove this article and don't give this hack the wasted space.

Hands on with Nintendo's Wii controller

You've kind of summed up my feelings. Pre-E3 I was really wanting to see this thing working. I was HYPED. Now, after watching the conference and seeing the feedback, I see we're in for a slightly rougher road than my crystal lined highway of dreams. I've got to have the thing in my hands...then I can see if its all I've cracked it up to be. They hit the nail on the head with the tagline:

Playing is Believing...and I've got to play to believe.

Nevermind...I should read...you said _the_ game.

I suppose you were referring to MGS.
