Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver Investigate the Paranormal in 'Buried' Director's 'Red Lights'

Ah, my apologies. When going through his filmography, I thought that was another one of his shorts. I'll fix it, thanks.

PG-13 Horror Movies That Prove the Rating Doesn't Matter

Oct 14th 2010 10:47AM (Moviefone Blog)
I'm just not a big fan of it. I think it has some great strengths to it, but overall it's kind of silly and I can't stand all of the CGI gags.

PG-13 Horror Movies That Prove the Rating Doesn't Matter

If it had been a straight Top 10, I definitely would have put Drag Me To Hell in over I Am Legend.

PG-13 Horror Movies That Prove the Rating Doesn't Matter

Oct 14th 2010 12:14AM (Moviefone Blog)
Drag Me To Hell was intentionally left out. :D

And, oddly enough, when I interviewed Roth/Stamm, they said they didn't change anything to get the PG-13...

I know what they've changed from the original ending, but they said it was due to focus groups not liking it and nothing to do with the rating.

'Let Me In' Review from Fantastic Fest: Vampire Remake Is One of the Best Horror Films of the Year

Sep 24th 2010 4:26AM (Moviefone Blog)
I'd say The Loved Ones, The Last Exorcism, The Crazies, Meat Grinder and Frozen.

But yes, it's been a pretty off year for horror so far.

Review: Resident Evil: Afterlife

Yep, they used the same camera rig setup as Avatar. The best testament I can give to how good the RE:A 3D is, is that it's the only 3D film of the year that didn't give me a headache. But I also saw it on a near-IMAX sized screen, so that probably helped substantially.

10 Must-See Toronto Fest Films That Probably Won't Escape Toronto

Cold Fish was announced today for Fantastic Fest, so at least one will be venturing onto American soil (granted, it's in a festival capacity, but still).

Cinematical Late Night: We R Animals, Neeson in Battleship, Zombieland 2 Progress

Thanks for the correction, Mary. I pulled the info from Mike Fleming's original post at Deadline, but it looks like he has also since pulled it...

Fixed, thanks for the correction.

'The Dark Tower' To Make Movie History as a Hybrid Film Trilogy and TV Show

I actually am a big fan of Shia LeBeouf, but man do I not want to see him play Eddie Dean...
