I don't know about marketing ploy... It's possible, but the PA guys generally don't try to pull crap on their fans. PAX is all about the fans.
1 - If they make more money on walk-ups, why wouldn't they push that?
2 - They probably will sell out - or get real close. So if you are one of those who thinks they'll just be able to walk in the door the day of, they don't want you to be surprised when you are told, "No." Don't get mad at them, they warned you.
3 - They have to keep the price on their page until it does sell-out. If they sell all but 1 ticket, they have to keep it on there for the one person who manages to be first in line in the walk up sales.

Oops - I meant 150 hours. One play through as good and got all the trophies. Second play through as evil and just did the normal stuff.

3 - Friends borrowed a copy (my brother lent me his)

I loved the game. Great immersive gameplay and I had a lot of fun. I almost picked up my own copy after playing because it was worth it but then I thought... meh... I'll just borrow my bro's copy again. I may try to platinum that game. Anyway, multiplayer did not hinder this game.
