but maybe the getaway/ 8 days weren't actually very good? what if despite the impresive tech, a good game just wasnt falling into place. technology from it wouuld be shared with other sony games etc and a new project started. all good.

Hang on, 130 000 people playing a total of 40 300 hours? Thats under 19 minutes per player. I'm guessing a fair few put in a lot more than that so a lot of people have wasted what could have been my beta play time! How I wish I had a beta code :(

There won't really be much of a lull in wind. Winds have the chance to build up over the entire atlantic before hitting the UK, so there is a constant wind. ALso there is never going to be no wind across the entire length of the UK, so there will always be power. This plan should be applauded, its brilliant that it is pushed through. The UK is just lucky it has such a resource availble, though makes up for the complete lack of sun!

oh give it up with the 'sony forcing us to use their formats'. ok so they invented some more. every company that pushes technology does so by introducing and pushing new technologies, their own where possible! Its not like ATRAC wasn;'t even good or anything! And they still supported mp3!

I already use the electronic whiteboards in ways like this, we have a'millionaire' game etc all built in, with remotes for every kid in class. Most schools have the electronic whiteboards in already now and getting the extra equipment over the years since. Been an invauable teaching tool! Kids thought Physics was dull till the dicovered drag n drop physics :S
