Also, tags are gone but categories are customizable. I see this as a non-issue. categories will help tighten your budget for example if you have a dining budget and you tag 3 transactions food, dining, and dinner but you don't have dinner set up for your 'dining out' budget it doesn't get counted.. with categories you don't have this issue.

I don't think that cha-ching and mint are comparable. mint essentially links to your bank, and gives you charts, and insight on your finances. it doesn't reconcile your banks at all. and the major thing is, that it's slow. it's always a few days behind..

cha-ching is more like quicken, Microsoft money, or your check register.schedule bill payments, budgets, and forecasting. it' allows you to reconcile, and keep track of your finances. As nice as mint is, I still think that to rely on it to manage your finances.

while some features of the two overlap, i don't think it's appropriate to compare the two.
