I connect to Home from time to time to check out what's new, but really, if Sony decided to abandon the whole idea I wouldn't care.

I think, like many, I was initially intrigued by the idea, quickly disappointed, soon completely bored, eventually a little annoyed and now entirely incredulous.

The less said about those people who have actually paid for content on Home the better.

Oops, talking about Vidzone of course.

In true Sony fashion, the thing doesn't work worth a damn... tried to launch it a few times now and, "Fatal Error"!

Just when you think Sony might actually do something right for a change... hmm.

Suzy Perry would be perfect for the job.

Meh. This isn't nearly as interesting as they made it sound. Not enough cities for a start, whether it's intentional or not a lot of it's too dark. Text is too small when you read the news, etc, etc, etc.

I understand why the usual Sony apologists are urging restraint because it's just version 1.0, but whatever happened to providing great software, first time and on time? Nah, that just wouldn't be Sony now would it.

It certainly has a lot of potential though, but you can just never be sure that Sony will deliver.

iPod users have to pay again? That sucks.

Why is using a PS3 as mostly a BD player only a bad thing?

Fact is, the PS3 is a fantastic BD player and probably still the best value BD player on the market.

Owning both a PS3 and a 360 I could care less which one sells most, all I care about is having a great BD player (with one or two games) and a great gaming system (Xbox 360) with a superior gaming ecosystem.

You do tend to wonder if this is all about Blu-ray and less to do with gaming.

I own both (all three if you include the Wii) and I'd give up my PS3 in a heartbeat before I gave up the other two. As a few have said already, my PS3 is just a glorified Blu-ray player.

The Apple iPhone really sucks, I can't believe anyone wants one.
