Buying Mass Effect this week.

Been looking forward to it for 25 months, got a chance to play it earlier this month at BioWare's community event and it's everything I wanted it to be. Game of the year, can't wait to get my hands on my own copy.

PGR4, Phantom Hourglass and Quake Wars. Looks like my season of spending is about to begin.

I just got an HD set last week, after playing my 360 on an SD set for over a year. It makes everything clearer, and the text easier to read on most of the games, but it's not a generational leap, just a nice (albeit, very nice) bonus.

This, "gamers with standard TVs will see little difference in graphic quality over the previous system.", is complete bull.

No, what that guy just explained was why Firefly won't work as a piece of crap WoW-clone. Not why it won't work as a creative MMO.

It's a brand new video going up on the marketplace and BioWare's website tomorrow. It's edited down from the 20-minute presentation they gave to the press at X06.

Also, the MTV video IS available in HD at GameTrailers.

Should be noted that one of the game's writers has said the conversation system doesn't share much with Mass Effect, beyond the fact that they're both "cinematic."

Also, the magazine should be on stands around November 14th.

It's a shame when a developer gets wrapped up in all of this pointless mudslinging.
