Cities are hardly dead, I still play this today and Aht Urghan is always crowded and I constantly see people running around in my starter city of choice. Also, Mages do start with spells that match the mage type they are.

Its for loyal FFXI fans, people that used their POL accounts most likely. So unless they plan on selling their FFXI characters/account along with it, I don't think so.

Altariel, I'd name it that because I love the name and I use it everywhere. I was trying to figure out what to name my original WoW character when the game first launched, and was undecided. So I searched the internet for awhile and found that name. I've used it ever since for tons of stuff.

FFXI does look better than that, that's a horrible screen shot.

If I recall correctly, the Japanese version of Bayonetta is English voice acted much like Resident Evil and then subtitled in the Japanese language. So that's not a good example.

If changing the voice language and subtitle language based on your systems settings then try playing a game on your PS3 or PSP, if you have one, and change the system settings to Japanese. Does it work? Not at all.

Hence the reason why some people complain about not having the original Japanese voices on the disc when it's released in America.

This game is looking awesome. I can't wait to get my hands on it. For some reason I get the feeling that Fang will be just a computer controlled story character though.

I would definitely say the PS3 version for the same reason. Also the fact that I don't feel like changing disks, as awesome of a game as Lost Odyssey was, four disks was just crazy! Although, it did remind me of the good old PSOne generation. :/

Really? Long load times in Uncharted 2? There is one when you first start up the game, and that's it unless you play online. Once you start playing the single player campaign though... the thing is seemless. Even if you skip the cutscenes I've never seen a loading time once playing (going through the single player multiple times on different difficulties makes you wanna skip certain cutscenes).
