Study shows more support for in-game ads

May 17th 2006 6:21PM (Joystiq)
I shit on ads in games...
I'm even switching tv-channels or at least mute them in commercial-breaks.

I DON'T WANT TO SEE ADVERTISEMENT IN VIDEOGAMES!!!

This is nothing but brainwashing by endless repetitions - that's why I prefer playing videogames over watching tv.

Charting the seven seas of video gaming [Update 1]

Yeah!
I've already bought the most expensive console (3DO) of all times - so there is absolutely no point to buy a PS3. I'm gonna get a Wii!

Bye, Bye Sony!
Hi Nintendo (for games) and Apple (for everything else)...

Twilight Princess now Wiimote-controlled

This news are not so new. Falafelkid (Andreas Garbe) got the ZTP-Infos some months ago by an interview with Shiggy. He mentioned that ZTP played on the Wii will use the Freehand-Controler to shoot with bow and arrow...
But ZTP is still a GC-Game.

"You, my good sir, have the brain of an especially small lab rat involved in failed experiments."

Hey, calm down - he wrote several time that he is very tired and have to go to bed...

BTW there is one thing by MS i would call innovative:
MS spend a lot of money to create a machine which is so f#cking loud that you have to wear a headset, to not get insane, sold by MS too. It's a innovation in "disturbing" marketing!

"WII CONTROLLER is still just a controller."

Yeah, but as innovative as it can be imho.

Man, what do they have to do for you to call a new way of interacting with the games a innovation - a mindcontrolled game (which is already done in a version of Pong), or what? ;-)

Dear Mr. Moore,
if i understand you correctly then you are going to say that:

- to redo/copy a common concept (online games) and resell it under a new name (Live) is innovative
- to sell (virtual) goods online (like thousands of websites) under a new name (Marketplace) is innovative
- to charge a fee (Gold-Membership) to be able to play online with your already paid games-console and your already paid games is innovative
- to create a new multi-functional input device (which probably can be intuitively used) is NOT innovative...

Your boss have to be a really stupid MF to pay you for such an analysis... you lucky bastard!

Judge says, "OK to read Joystiq at work"

May 1st 2006 9:51AM (Joystiq)
Joystiq is one of the few videogames related websites which are not get filtered yet by the network guys at work. It's so laughable that, for example, I can read movie and music reviews on metacritic.com but not the reviews for the videogames...

Censorship is like pestilence for the free mind!
