Nope, Red/Green was for the Game Boy and Gold/Silver/Crystal was for the Game Boy Color. Which is considered successor to the Game Boy (according to Wikipedia).

I was gonna say the same thing. I wouldnt doubt it if Japan gets it this year and we get it next year, isnt it always like that?

My money is on this fall in Japan and spring for us. My reasoning is that Pokemon Black and White are scheduled for this fall in Japan and spring in the US and I doubt they would miss a chance to release them at the same time.

Anybody wonder if they would pull a surprise and say that BW will be in 3D? Or would we have heard about that?

Im surprised no one has even brought this up, probably because it is a little out there, but anyways. A new generation pokemon game has always been on the newest handheld device. There has never been 2 generations on the same device. Would it be stupid to think that maybe, just maybe, we could see the DS2 be released by the end of the year with these new pokemon games being launch day games. I know how unlikely that sounds but does anyone think that it could be a possibility? Or would we have heard from developers already about the DS2 if they were developing for it?

Around Christmas time, Best Buy had the game for $19.95 (also Animal Crossing). I had to go to 3 Best Buys to find it since the web site said it was in stock but couldnt find it in the store.

I also wondered how long they would have this limited edition for. It cant be limited edition if you never stop selling it. I just assumed they would stop shipping the collectors edition anymore, not stop shipping the entire game in general.

Umm, like other people have said this has been available for more then a month. Not to mention you guys wrote two articles on it. One was saying it was available and the the other one was a top 10 article on what we should buy.

I actually ended up going with Kirby and wasnt disappointed.

It took 8 years for this to happen one time, I dont think it will be happening anytime soon
