I think that there is SEVEN Metal Slug games in this Anthology :
Metal Slug 1, 2, X, 3, 4, 5, 6.

That makes 7 games.

It's seems the blogger (and #6) has never played a Ridge racer game. It's sad really. RR has existed for 14 years and it has never been a simulation. It's an ARCADE game, with big slides at full speed in turns.

What do you expect ? Go play GT4 if you want a simulation !

Or try Ridge Racer (available on every Sony console !) if you want to know what I'm talking about !
