Because, like the comment you just replied to said rather plainly, it's proving that the visuals on the controller don't lag behind the main screen.

Y'know, this might be able to make console RTSs. . . well, better. I imagine some interesting combination of the touch pad control and using the "second window" to get a better handle on separate tactical and strategic views.

At this point I'm honestly hoping usage of the term "next-gen" ends up only applying to this round of consoles, and gaming terminology takes a turn for the "modern vs postmodern" nonsense. . . just because that would be hilarious
