@Axcalibur I get my news from the neogaf forums. It's typically on there a good 2-3 days ahead of Joystiq. =D

@Axcalibur There's a billion other sites that offer pure game 'reporting'. I come to Joystiq for the lulz as much as the news. And that nonsense paragraph made me laugh out loud like the immature little man that I am.

The game opens with her dying, and then the remainder of the story is her trapped in some sort of purgatory, looking back on how she came to die.

No biggy.

The Daily Star is obviously an extreme case, but British newspapers are all so full of shit.

Dante has medium length white hair, has a long red coat, and has a sword on his back. That's his design. That's what make him Dante. Take away one - maybe two - of these, and he remains Dante. Take away all of them, and the design stops being Dante.

The problem with the new character is that he's completely devoid of everything that makes him (look like) Dante. If you showed me a picture of this new Dante without telling me who it is, I'd never be able to guess correctly.

It's like suddenly making Lara Croft a chubby ginger girl.



Still ... the design is (slowly) growing on me. And hopefully the game will play well. I'm still holding out hope. =)

The Japanese don't wait for anything as trifling as 'consent'.
