Will it have Kinect?

That'd make things ... interesting.

@Brother Unit No 4

Oh yeah, I'm going to give it a go. I'll probably buy it at launch. It *does* look like a good game.

Just disappointed I'm not getting a 'real' Devil May Cry 5.

@PN04

I've completed Heavenly Sword 4 times. There are lots of combos to learn, yeah, but there's no point in using any of them.

They all do almost the same exact thing, and it's more effective to simply spam the Triangle button anyway.

Heavenly Sword is a lot better on hard mode, because then you actually have to time your attacks and use some tactics. But on normal mode (which is what I imagine 95% of people played the game, as Hard mode isn't available until you've completed the game once), there is no skill required at all.

People disliked Cole, because it hurt the continuity of the series.

People dislike the new Dante cos the original Dante is one of the most iconic designs of last gen.

It'd be kind of like if Halo 4 is announced, but now Master Chief's armour is blue, and he doesn't wear a helmet any more.

Clearly someone's never played DMC3.

Heavenly Sword is a special game for me, because it was the first PS3 game (and thus game of this generation) that I really enjoyed.

However, it's fighting is somewhat ... shallow. And repetitive. And too easy. And too short.

I do believe Ninja Theory are capable of making good games. I'm just not convinced they're capable of making a good *Devil May Cry* game.

If this was a new IP, I'd be really hyped for it.

But DMC used to be one of my favourite series, and I'm not convinced this reboot will be able to capture the essence of what made DMC 1 and 3 so bloody good.

DMC3 Dante was already young. This guy doesn't look any different.

This looks like a complete reboot. ie. there's connection at all in the story.

Dante never smoked. That was an intentional part of his character. It annoys me he's now a smoker. =/

For me, the trailer basically went like this:

Mysterious voice: "What is your name?"

Me: "Please not Dante, please not Dante."

Mysterious voice: "What is your name?"

Me: "For the love of God, don't let that be Dante."

Mysterious voice: "What is your name?"

Black-haired man: "Dante."

Me: "Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu."
