More like the judge is a pirate himself, I'm afraid.

Phoenix Wright judged appropriate for WiiWare re-release in Japan

Nov 18th 2009 2:29AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
If this is the first step to a new Phoenix Wright game on the Wii, count me in. I'd rather play some new Phoenix on the DS, though.

Bottom line is... I NEED MOAR PHOENIX.

PES 2009 trailer includes footage of 'digital soccer'

Mar 31st 2009 2:37AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I hadn't played PES2008, but this one has blown my head off. There ain't no other soccer game like this, you got control over everything and, even though it may seem a little over complicated at first, once to come to grips you'll be fully satisfied. And I'm glad they included the classic control too, cause there's always a time when you feel like a little old school action.

The tutorial mode is nice, don't skip it, you'll need it - you can come back later tho. And there's plenty of info in the booklet on how to do every move. Take a little time to master the control and, if you are a fan of the sport, you'll be amazed on how real the games get to be.

Plus there's plenty of modes: Champions League, Master League, Champion's road, La Liga/Premier/Calcio/Eredivisie/French Leagues, Cups, Single Matches, Online matches, Penalties... There are some clubs that don't have their real names (Konami could not get 100% licenses), but the players are the real ones and all you have to do is edit the name of the team and their shirt. It's fully customizable, you can edit about EVERYTHING.

Out of the box, the game's got the team's info from the beginning of the season but there's already an online update and you'll get the new transfers and even updated starting teams reflecting exactly what the teams are playing like right now. Very nice, Konami.

Graphics are nice, not mindblowing, but ok. Sound is nice too, but sometimes the sound effects play way too high and you cannot hear the voices well.

I still gotta play a lot more, but I feel like we got a challenger to the greatest soccer game ever: ISS64.
