That trailer made me do a sex piss.

Hands-on: Firecore Classic Console

I remember years ago in the era of the PS1 there was a hand held genesis (or mega drive here in the UK) that looked like a game gear but let you play your genesis games.

Rumor: New Left 4 Dead 2 CG trailer leaked, epic

I found it ironic that a game with little content compared to a game like CoD gave me so many hours of pleasure. I've lost count how much I've played L4D.
In fact I've put myself on a break from L4D untill 2 comes out because I play way too much.

Point-and-click your way to the ever-charming Machinarium

Oct 18th 2009 4:42PM (Joystiq)
I just finished it a couple of hours ago. It's really addictive.
HeyYoMan the first few puzzles are isolated then it extends to several areas.

There will be a few moments of being stumped but persist it out and you'll get it eventually.

You tube already has the walkthrough videos if you're really stuck and you get clues in the game too.

As to the quality, it really polished. The art style is really nice and the puzzles are really well thought out.

Just try out the demo here http://machinarium.net/demo/

The $20 is a bit steep. I finished the game in a few hours but I was more than happy to pay because I would love to see more from this development team.

Nega-review: The Orange Box

Definately, that's one of the most appealing things about HL. Its immersive story, the ending on ep2 BTW was amazing, its gameplay, its enthralling characters, its graphics.
There have been gripes about Half Life's graphics over say Halo, or Gears of War but there is a realistic grittyness in Half Life that gives it a more realistic look than the glossed over look of other sci fi shooters.

I'm with you on this one.

Well then what's the point of being allowed to comment if every comment has to be a positive one that suck up to the author. I'm sorry but I as much right to express my opinion here as you have.
Yes the reviewer has played it, that's exactly my point.
He's played it and formed an opinion based on his experience of the game, an experience which could be completely different with someone else.
What I'm saying is to always take reviews, whether they're positive or negative with a pinch of salt and not let it be the deciding factor on whether you play the game or not.

I agree with you a bit there flit, a studio put all this effort into making an amazing game and then some random guy suddenly feels he has some sort of right to judge it and give it a score.
The way I feel is that the only way to judge a game is to try it for yourself to see if you like it. Don't ignore a game because someone else didn't like it. I mean, what does this article hope to achieve. I know I'm not going to deny myself the experience of this game because I have to wait for a few load screens or that the reviewer had some frame rate issues etc.
