Oct 18th 2009 4:42PM (Joystiq)HeyYoMan the first few puzzles are isolated then it extends to several areas.
There will be a few moments of being stumped but persist it out and you'll get it eventually.
You tube already has the walkthrough videos if you're really stuck and you get clues in the game too.
As to the quality, it really polished. The art style is really nice and the puzzles are really well thought out.

Nega-review: The Orange Box
Oct 19th 2007 11:25AM (Joystiq)There have been gripes about Half Life's graphics over say Halo, or Gears of War but there is a realistic grittyness in Half Life that gives it a more realistic look than the glossed over look of other sci fi shooters.

Oct 19th 2007 9:53AM (Joystiq)Yes the reviewer has played it, that's exactly my point.
He's played it and formed an opinion based on his experience of the game, an experience which could be completely different with someone else.
What I'm saying is to always take reviews, whether they're positive or negative with a pinch of salt and not let it be the deciding factor on whether you play the game or not.
Nega-review: The Orange Box
Oct 19th 2007 8:45AM (Joystiq)The way I feel is that the only way to judge a game is to try it for yourself to see if you like it. Don't ignore a game because someone else didn't like it. I mean, what does this article hope to achieve. I know I'm not going to deny myself the experience of this game because I have to wait for a few load screens or that the reviewer had some frame rate issues etc.
