I sent this in this morning and didn't get any credit for it :(

I think some of you were quick to judge the "Mariokart" as a series along with Grand Theft Auto.

Last time I checked, there wasn't a "1" at the end of the original titles. It would make no sense to include groups of games, but rate others differently.

Super Mario Kart is in fact the original SNES game and not meant to be the entire series.

As for me, I'm surprised not a single entry for Smash brothers made it, especially the original. How about Super Mario 3?

Well considering its a Wii fault for "putting the controller in your pocket" for the classic controller, shouldn't this be a Wii positive that that the remote can go somewhere thats not the pocket? I think its fine that the Wii mote shows and maybe it adds a little something extra with the motion? only further details will tell.

I'm surprised that Sony didn't bid on the land. Then they'd have an excuse for copying anything Nintendo does. "What's that you say, I saw THOSE guys doing it right next door!"

Link was confirmed (no surprises there), which I also read its going to be the Twilight Link, so maybe he might have a morph into wolf move similar to sheik and Zelda from SSBM.. now that would be pretty cool.

The first few characters that get posted will be the obvious ones from the first 2 games, it'll be exciting on some of the new ones, or "surprise renewals" from Melee. At least I have all summer to try and beat MP1 and MP2 and start the fall with MP3. Which starts once I beat the newly picked up Super Paper Mario.

I would of thought having the older mario party games coming out would have been a better idea. You know, with the new one approaching quickly and all. I guess this is another week trying to beat Castlevania.

Looks like I have to add Castlevania to the list of games I should buy, but feel that I'm holding unto points for something I really badly want. Last week I finally cracked and bought the way overpriced TMNT (I remember selling my copy to Funcoland for 25 cents, repurchasing it at a local store for 75 cents, now dropping 6 bucks on it). All's good though, I did beat the game last Thursday (surprisingly was able to do so).

As for Mystical Ninja, I remember the N64 one that I beat and then sold to Funcoland. Not sure if this one was any better than that one. I really was there was a demo thing, and after reading that article last week how the $5 to $10 is pure profit, I feel I may be more conservative with my points. I really think $5 should be more for games like SMB, SMB2, 3, you know games that can't be purchased at a dollar bin.

Where's this "full interview"? I clicked on it and go to some french site and hit the translation thing and all there is, is a video. And the video was taking FOREVER to load. Any actual text interview?

I'm learning about this in one my classes. These types of layoffs is to increase the stock price, so some executive can sell his stock and possibly resign. At least that's what I learned..

Actually I thought Mike Tyson's WAS the original, and they made that important update when that fiasco happened. I don't understand why Mr. Dream would be the original, then they put the ear biter in a game.
so that theory wouldn't make any sense.

To this day, I haven't beaten Tyson yet...

Damn, time to get another points card...
