While the box art was atrocious, the game was great. Perhaps compared to todays offerings it's lacking but I had this when it came out and it was fun. I think it's still a decent game today.
I'm sure they had a reaction, but it was more of an internal thought. Like "I think I need to change my pants.". Hell it made me jump a bit. Not sure how I would have reacted in the drivers seat outside of having eyes the size of dinner plates!
@Same Old: Oh please. This thing will destroy the boss and be equal to or better than the GT500. Look at the facts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QW-qF_Xzjl4 Same engine and 400 lbs more than the camaro and it beat the GT500. Add in the better tires and handling and I think your blind faith in ford will falter.
They do, but it has to have softened a lot over the years. With factory stereos getting better and better and more importantly with them being so integrated into the car less people even bother. I can see Amp's and Sub's still selling but head units are such a pain on newer cars and costly to when things like climate control and heated seats are part of the radio. They'll still sell them to some people but it's not like the easy days of din/1.5 din/ double din.
You can get one now (hood, trunk, and roof are already aluminum). It's made by Hurst and it costs $50k. Oh and it puts out the same RWHP as the LS3. So ya. Or you could take the money for the Hurst and add a supercharger, and long tubes and pump out 600 RWHP and not worry about weight! =D
Bring back the S-10/Sonoma! lol Small pickups just make sense. Better mileage and they can do most of the jobs people use trucks for (moving, lite towing, buying furniture/big TV's), but the key is pricing. Who the hell would buy a compact now when you look at how cheap you can get a full size for?! I love the Silverado and Sierra but unlike my friend who moves boats and does road transport for a living I just don't need one. Make a good small truck and price it right or don't even bother.
My thoughts exactly. I like the go fast bits but clearly Hurst is whoring their name out to anything these days. I don't blame them though. There isn't to many cars left that actually offer manual shifters.
