Rhythm Heaven Fever review: Crazy into you

Feb 9th 2012 3:18PM (Joystiq)
Considering I thought the DS game was a step down for the GBA game and you think the Wii game is a step down from the DS game... this series is going down the wrong path! I have this game on pre-order then remembered that it was "localized"! Doh! :\ Need to import the Japanese one for best results.

Don't support games like this. Vote with your wallet! Developers/Publishers won't pull this garbage if you don't buy it!

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning online pass DLC detailed, available now

Feb 8th 2012 10:59AM (Joystiq)
I don't buy games that have Online Pass garbage. Sell me complete games on disc if you want my money. Thanks.

P.S. Anyone else find it funny that Publishers try to bone customers but at the same time reward sellers like Lamestop (who are the ones they should be going after... not the buyers)?

NeverDead DLC coming Feb. 21 with new playable character and modes

This. This is why I didn't buy this game Day One like I had planned since it's announcement. DLC is shit. Give me full games on the disc. I'll be waiting until this game is $20 and I won't buy the garbage DLC. Argh!

Vita 'UMD Passport' won't be offered in US

Cool story Sony. Let me know when there is a custom Firmware out so that I can play all the games I've purchased over the years. Until then I'll keep playing my PSP, not much interest in a touch controlled Vita anyhow.

Cool. I'll buy it used from Gamefly or when it drops to $20. Shitty Developer/Publisher practices of Online Codes are something I can't support.

Still waiting for a price drop... missed it when it was $40 briefly on Amazon.

@Weeny In The Butt Sure... getting slapped in the face twice is worse than getting slapped in the face once but that doesn't make getting slapped in the face any better.

@Grimbear13 1. I'd still be pissed that my favorite developer was going the route of DLC. It's a shitty money grabbing technique and even if it is free DLC it's still DRM locked and will one day be unavailable to use.

2. Retailer exclusive content is horrible for the consumer... Why should I have to give Lamestop (a retailer I don't want to support) my money just because they got the exclusive Evil Dead DLC instead of Amazon (a retailer I will continue buying my games from)? All this does is alienate the consumer who wants to be able to choose who is getting his/her money.

3. Remember when you used to be able to beat a game to unlock a bonus costume or extra mode? Remember when you didn't have to buy the game 3 times from 3 different retailers just to "unlock" such content?

Why do you feel the need (like so many others...) to defend such practices from the gaming industry? I don't get it.
