DIYer concocts homegrown View-Master, relies on HTC Magic and Google Street View (video)

Oct 27th 2009 11:32AM (Engadget)
I wonder if you had two phones, and a divider down the middle, so each phone was only visible to one eye, then if you could offset each image slightly, could you simulate 3d? It would work like those cross-eye 3D illusions (google it).

Well, from the look of that video, it looked very similar... How else would I have come up with that name, they're nothing alike otherwise. Can any of you who will be playing mushroom wars, try dyson and report back.

Nokia 1100 seemingly hackable, making a big comeback

Don't call them hackers.

These people aren't "Hackers" they're criminals.

Would you call someone who breaks into pyramids and steals the treasure an archeologist? No. You'd call them a criminal.

Ask Engadget: Best tiny MP3 player for exercise enthusiasts?

Apr 10th 2009 8:37AM (Engadget)
Creative MuVo v100 is my all time favorite mp3 player. I've bought six muvos over the past 7 or 8 years.

They are good because of two particular reasons that no other player has:
-They have an internal usb: no wires needed!
-They use a regular AAA battery: No charging needed!

As far as I know, the MuVo is the ONLY player that has both of these features, and the v100 is the biggest storage capacity at 2GB (not the best, but not bad).

ESRB: Classic Sega games coming to XBLA, PSN

I seem to remember wii virtual console being promised Sega Genesis games. We've had a lot of positive results (Echo the Dolphin brings back so many memories). But why is "Virtual Console" conspicuously left out of the title here. I dont like that...
