SportsCenter will be from 9am-3pm, M-F. (As Steve proclaims, repeatedly.) The 6am-9am show with Linda and Steve was announced, then later pulled.

(Also, shouldn't these type of posts have some sort of disclaimer as editorial content...? It's often hard to sort out the news from the opinionated blather.)

That's a BS headline, for the record. He's not leaving baseball, not now at least. Sure, he'll go into game development after he retires. But the headline makes it seem as if he announced today that he is leaving baseball, effective immediately, to go into video game development. That's just not true.

Master Chief. Once he takes off his helmet, I couldn't bear listening to him blabber on about how he's really Duke Nukem.

Just to clear my name, when the post was first added, it did feature an illustration of a mean-looking santa smoking a LARGE marijuana cigarette. I had seen this illustration on concert posters in the past.

Obviously, Erica (or someone else) changed the photo between the time when I posted and 12:49P, when Vicki posted and told us all that the photo was from Bad Santa.

Okay, that's all.

Were these Santa's smoking a fatty while protesting...or is that just the guy in the illustration?

You're right. You can only watch one program at a time, even with a TiVo. I guess it just gets my goat thinking of all the prep time needed to use multiple VCRs...scheduling the shows via the inferior interface on a weekly if not daily basis, swapping out tapes, suffering through the tape degradation or buying new tapes regularly, and so on...when they have a technology that does exactly what you want it to do, across two tuners. I mean, you're a writer for the most prestigious TV news and review blog on the internets...and you use a VCR set-up. This is like a graphic designer trying to ply his art with a Commodore 64. You have written on numerous occasions how you "might cave" and get a DVR. Just do it, is all I'm saying. Pick up a TiVo dual-tuner, write it off as a business expense, pen a glowing entry saying you can't believe you held out this long, and live happily ever-after.

Dude, it kills me each time you write these silly articles about how you're going to TAPE things while watching other things. Do us all a favor and go pick up a TiVo dual-tuner. You can start watching your shows at 8:10, and zip through the commercials. Frankly, I'd rather read a silly article about how you can't believe you waited so long to join TiVo Nation rather than get sucked into your mini-crisis each time a network opts to take on the competiton.

Count me in for this as well.
