Mar 30th 2011 2:38PM (Autoblog)Please do a feature on why Americans don't buy wagons/sports wagons anymore.
Is it as simple as how they rather buy SUVs and minivans?
All auto enthusiasts blogs I visit have strong fans for the wagons. I myself have been searching for some great looking/performing wagons for some time now. But int he US market, there aren't that many choices..

Mar 20th 2011 9:21PM (Autoblog)Poll: Which car commercial won the Super Bowl?
Feb 8th 2011 7:21PM (Autoblog)I guess I was just turned off by the whole "appealing to American" nature of the commercial... Not that there is anything wrong with it in itself. I for one used to really like Chevy's Like a Rock campaign many years ago. I felt like it conveyed the idea of it being American and really showed off what the product was all about (I am no truck fan at all).
Considering how American car industry screwed up a lot of different things in general... especially now that they've been pumped up with bail out money, I really would have liked to see more action to prove themselves first before trying to push this kind of commercial I guess... To this point, I have a great respect for what Ford has been doing lately. And for that matter, even GM is trying really hard.
Maybe it is because they were pushing 200 as the focus of the commercial... I just did not feel the connection between the message of the commercial for the revival of Detroit and the product they are showing...
Poll: Which car commercial won the Super Bowl?
Feb 8th 2011 1:26AM (Autoblog)Actually... Your comment is exactly what I mean...
This is a car commercial. But the point it is making is not about the car... But it's pleading to Americans to like them because it is about Detroit?
Again, I am all for the American car industry and rebuilding Detroit. Although I am against the bailout in my principle, I do agree that it was necessary and I really do wish it will revive the American car industry.
But I can't help but roll my eyes when a product commercial is not telling me about the product. But trying to somehow coat it with patriotism.

Feb 7th 2011 8:40PM (Autoblog)But that Chrysler commercial?
Really?
Did it really resonate with you? It's worth #2 spot over other commercials on the list?
I really don't get this one...
