Reggie ain't sweating Project Natal, 'Sphere'

Nov 13th 2009 10:33PM (Joystiq)I prefer the PS3 to the 360, but I can say without reservation that Natal is the only device that has the potential to out-Wii the Wii, for 2 reasons.
A) Controller - Simple (remote) controller - no controller. It's the natural progression to rope in non-gamers.
B) It's new (the Sony motion controller is just the next step-up from the Wii remote).
C) It will probably be packed in with a new (looking) piece of hardware, which avoids the "But it's an add-on!" complaint. More so, Microsoft could package the whole thing together far more affordably than Sony could a PS3 + PS Eye + Motion Controller, and require no extra controllers.
It's just really hard to see what else Nintendo (or Sony) could innovate from here on out, until we start heading into "mind control" or "hologram" territory.
