Now, if you REALLY want to play DVD on wii, check out hacking your wii.

Because it was new product, just like Apple releasing newer product with crappy hardware, and people get SO EXCITED.

over 50% people who voted ALREADY have Blu-ray player. I don't see WHY Nintendo would HAVE to have Blu-ray playback.
(Same goes with HD graphics in general)
Other than Zelda, Mario Kart, (Smash Bros. and Metroid If i want to stretch) why would nintendo game needs to be in HD?

Wait until Amazon.com matches the deal.
