I personally like gamer scores among friends. I like comparing where I'm at in a game to where my friend is at it a game. I guess it's just the competitive side of my personality. It also adds a bit to the game. There are some things I would never have worried about doing in a game if it wasn't for the achievement system. It's also nice knowing that every game I buy will have them. If developers make cross-platform games, that being 360 and PS3 games, then perhaps there's a good chance that you'll see them on the PS3 version. Then again, if it's not manditory why should the dev waste time writing the code? All this news about the PS3 does is make me feel a bit less bad about selling my PS3 on eBay when I get it at launch.
Yeah, so Wii pretty much sucks. I love how Nintendo wants to equate the name to iPod or Napster. Those sounded cool from day one. I still think a dongle sounds stupid. Anyways, nothing WE can do about it, so I'll just call it my Nintendo.
