Nov 20th 2009 8:44PM (Engadget)
If you have time to skim engadget and reply you are probably not the target group. Ever seen people working on thin clients in banks and offices, thats what its for. And I think I might be more productive on chrome os than on my distraction ladden imac!

ViewSonic heats up phone collection, V901 spotted on Microsoft China site

Nov 14th 2009 6:49AM (Engadget)
Arunas, u should not take what people earn according to statistics as fact. A teacher making 2000rmb has extra incomes by (proprietary) homeschooling kids, a doctor gets kickbacks from a phone company and even the company driver making 1000rmb a month uses the car often to earn a buck as delivery guy. I dont think I know anyone on our average chinese city that earns less than 800USD+ when he/she is 30. And there arent TONS of rich people, if a city of 5 million has a couple porsche and maserati, its probably as many as back in the US.

Wii's kryptonite is Korea, apparently

May 25th 2008 3:57AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
Well, I live in China, and got a cracked japanese one. So probably most koreans that want a wii already got one ages ago. Since Japan is just around the corner... And all this BS about chinese hating japanese hating koreans,... and they only play starcraft doesnt apply. So if Wii would start selling in china, sales would be lackluster too.
