I just picked this up today and it's such a great game. They've already got my cash if they decide to make another one. Please?

The commenter below me has the right idea: release a new game every 3-4 years and this could be avoided. I really don't see how hard that is to grasp for publishers. The brand won't get over saturated and people will be more hyped because of the longer absence, thus insuring the brand (and cash flow) to be steady. Sequels just seem to pop up too quickly this gen.

Alright, when does shooter fatigue kick in? Most genres only stay on top for so long.

How many installments before people get burned out on CoD? Or has it already happened? Not flame bait, just curious to see what the consensus is.
