I bought this game the day it came out in Japan and I have to say that it has bored and frustrated the living crap out of me.
The graphics are beautiful and the sound is excellent, but the story is non-existent and the battle system is absolutely maddening. You'd think that it would be fun, or even progressive, but having this weird pseudo-control over your character during a battle is at the very apex of video game dumb. In battles you are literally just moving the character forwards and backwards, hoping that he will be clever enough to attack when he gets close.
If you want a fun rpg experience get Mario & Luigi 2x2 and avoid this.
not sure where that was, but there seemed to be very few people so I guess it was outside of a major city. In Tokyo the second wave of DS Lites netted almost as much queuing as the first wave - it's still pretty crazy here in Tokyo. There are message boards just for swapping "insider info" on which stores are going to get X amount of units on what day.
I will never be able to dull the continuous internal monologue of screaming and crying in despair that has resulted from me seeing a picture of this movie.
I sent this into engadget LAST week. An online magazine called http://www.pingmag.jp had pics up on the web last week regarding this. I wanted to notify TUAW but I couldn't find the submission form! Maybe you should make the link more obvious? (still can't find it...if there even IS one)
This question must have been asked before, so sorry if people have seen it umpteen times already, but:
Approximately how big are the TV show files from iTunes?
I'm just wondering how much of a TV / music ratio we are going to have to decide on. I mean I'm not too fussed about quality but if we are talking 300-500mb an episode, that's going to wreak havoc on your music collection, especially if, like me, you kinda like the idea of being able to carry a whole season of Lost around with you.
