Apr 29th 2009 9:37PM (Joystiq)It'll probably wind up with a name like "pixeljunk rescue....r"
The only thing that perturbs me about this one, and i apologize for being so shallow, is that there is yet no indication of multi-player.
The multiplayer really made the first 3 pixeljunks shine, for me...

Dec 31st 2008 12:40AM (Engadget)So you went Home ... (now what?)
Dec 26th 2008 1:57AM (Joystiq Playstation)of what, i'm not sure, but many of the criticisms, while apt, seem to overlook the nature of people.
i can see how many gamers could care less about something like home - ADD headshot addicts would probably see no reason to socialize beyond a few battlefield directives and expletives.
but what so few of the Gamer Gods seem to understand is that we are all people, individuals, and many of us like a modicum of individuality in our gaming. we like the option to do things our way, express ourselves, and enjoy each other's successes and failures. They see home as a waste of time, a failed and outdated model, and perhaps for them, it is. what they fail to acknowledge is to opportunity for individuality, for communication, for expression, and for fun.
a number of people will take Home as an opportunity to be rude or lewd, no doubt.
what i hope for Home is that psn members will seize the opportunity themselves. hold clan/forum meetings in home, for example.
something like Home has great potential to amplify a gaming experience, and it's up to its constituent members to moderate and modify it to their tastes.
all that said, i'm pretty disappointed that we lost voice chat in Home. disappointed because a: rude gamers brought this fate upon all of us and b: i really wanted to try jamming with some other gamer musicians.
i don't like the direction of censorship and limiting user contribution. i would like to see image and audio sharing and the return of voice chat down the line, perhaps with the easy option of blocking specific users, or even banning them.
