Rumor: Circuit City selling 360 120GB HDD for $80

Dec 18th 2008 7:21PM (Joystiq Xbox)
This is a pretty old deal by now.

I think you would be lucky to find one still in stock at a store still.

BOTH Target and Circuit City seemed to be clearing out their stock of 120GB HDD's. Recently.

I was lucky, and got one from Target @ $90 a few weeks back.

I just WISH my arcade style Joystick would hurry up and get here.

So when are they making a Mortal Kombat HD Remix?

I got this one on the first week, but quickly gave up playing it because I can't do anything that great with a stock controller...

I just with my arcade style Joystick I ordered would get here...

Rock Band 2 works with other instruments, could miss Christmas

Harmonix has the biggest bunch of morons running their business.

1st there was the completely castrated Rock Band (1) they quickly ported over to the Wii. What a pitiful excuse of a game for what is actually a good game on the other current consoles...

Next, comes Rock Band 2.
Wow, they finally got the message.
Give the Wii owners a FULL version of their game.
Too bad it is releasing over 2 months later then the other current gen consoles...

After the castrated 1st version was announced, I moved on, and got a 360. VERY well worth it.

Really though Harmonix?
You really think it is smart business to delay the (probably) #1 "party game" for the #1 "party/social" gaming console (Wii)?

What kind of complete morons make your business decisions?

Love the feature to disable autoplay the game I put in the disk tray.(not sure if it was in the original Dashboard. If it was, I never found it.)

The New Xbox Experience: What do you think?

I looked for that in the old dashboard as well, but never really found it. I'm GLAD to hear that it was added.

Happy 2nd birthday, Wii!

My Wii is 2 years old today as well :)
I'm glad to see that for Nintendo, the Wii is still doing well.

They still have some key problems to address (quickly!), like a storage solution, better 3rd party support, better online system, etc.

I might start playing my Wii more when they get a 2nd Zelda out the door.

Either that, or an online Wii Sports game would rock!

USA Today republishes Rock Band 2 story, says it isn't totally gimped

Good Point about the import / usability of RB1 songs.

ALSO:
Is whoremonix going to get GH instrument cross-compatibility to the same level as the xbox & ps3 versions are getting?

Doubtful.

Rocking out just got a lot cheaper

Jul 7th 2008 4:53PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
You couldn't PAY ME enough to want to play this gimped POS version of the game.

Survey spills the beans on Rock Band 2

Jun 6th 2008 4:33PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I couldn't agree 100000000% more.

Why is gimped crossed out?
Is Wii FanBoy not actually about reporting the FACTS anymore?

Whoremonix has completely lost out on the Wii userbase.

But more importantly Nintendo has lost out. If Nintendo had half a brain they would pull Whoremonix software license for the Wii.
It's a completely incompetent decision to allow a company (like Whoremonix) to make such an abortion of a product (like Wii Rock Band), and be allowed to promote it, and sell it.

Nintendo is the huge loser here because anyone with even half a brain will go out an buy a xBox 360 & Rock Band for that system so they can actually have a COMPLETE version of the game.

Not the castrated piece of absolute shit that Whoremonix is putting out for the Wii.

So NO, as a Wii owner, my Wii will never see a Rock Band game Not RB1, RB2, or even RB3 (if they are even around long enough to make 2 or 3). Never.
My xBox on the other hand, might. Depending on how GH:IV turns out.
