The important thing to get from the update notes is the part that says "Of course while all of these features can be enabled via Matchmaking playlists, players should remember that 'normal' Reach gameplay can and will continue untouched in its own Matchmaking playlists"

That was Teron Gorefiend and we've already dealt with him. We killed him in Black Temple. (He was one of the original Death Knights -- pre-Arthas Lich King)

Arthas' sister is still wandering around too. Sure she wont be a boss, but I imagine she'll eventually show up.

My guess is the "major content patches" are all of the old patches. You're not going to get Cataclysm content patch cinematics before the content is even made.

I could not knock a Knaak book.

I went Prot (Paladin, imagine that!) after I hit 80 and have since ran Naxx and a few heroics, but not very many. I absolutely loathe WoW-Heroes, but using that as a base my paladin sits at 1999 gear score, which I’m slowly upgrading over time. Now, I could really use the Badges to help with those upgrades, but I’m terrified of tanking using the new LFG tool because I will be expected to know the heroics.

I can look up boss abilities on WoWhead in the pre-pull time and see quick strats, but for the most part I’m lost. I’m sure part of this is the usual newbie-starting Tank issue, but do you have any suggestions for what a tank who’s never been in a certain heroic before should do? Asking the group is always an option, but being heckled and possibly kicked because you're a "noob" doesn't sound like an appealing option.

Solution to the airship ramp issue: Levitation.

Our guild figured it out as the night went on.
